the outer ribbons are attached. Note how they are laid into the end
of the ribbons. This prevents flexing of the joint under heavy loads
and keeps this joint from breaking. A small increase in fabrication
expense, but a great reduction in maintenance costs over other brands
which tend to break at this joint. |
